국내 대학으로 편입한 딸이 대견해 글을 띠웁니다.

3월 새학기가 시작되자 "엄마 나 학교 다녀올께" 하고 매일 등교하는

주현이의 뒷모습을 보니 이 엄마는 행복하기만 하다. 

미국에 유학을 하면서 일 년에 딱 한번, 여름방학이 끝나고

인천공항 출국장에서 "엄마 나 다녀올게" 하며 떠나면

일 년간은 볼 수 없었던 딸 주현이였다.

고등학교부터 대학까지 계속되는오랜 이국생활에 지쳐선지

네가 국내로 편입을 하겠다고 할 때, 이 엄마는 사실 걱정했었다.

과연 네가 국내 대학에 제대로 편입을 할 수 있을까? 하고.

하지만 열심히 노력한 탓인지 지원했던 여러 대학들 중에서도

굴지 대학의 수의학과에 편입한 주현이를 보니 대견스럽기만 하다.

비록 국내의 대학생활에 적응하기 쉽지 않겠지만

총명한 주현이가 미래의 멋진 수의사가 될 것을 굳게 믿으며

오늘도 "파이팅"하는 하루가 되길 기도드린다. 사랑해 주현아!
